K-9 Dorian, a loyal service dog, was suddenly taken from his longtime partner, Deputy Berger, and his family and relocated to an undisclosed site. Dorian isn’t just a police dog; he’s a family member, a companion, and a hero who has spent his life serving others. Now, he’s likely feeling abandoned, confused, and heartbroken.

This forced separation isn’t just unethical—it’s emotional cruelty. Dogs, especially service dogs, form deep bonds with their handlers. Ripping them away without cause disregards their mental and emotional well-being.

PETA is urging Wisconsin officials to reunite Dorian with Deputy Berger and his family so that he can live out his well-deserved retirement in peace, not isolation.
